AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
Lease Amendment with the United States General Services Administration
whereby the District will reclaim a portion of the premises as leased by the District
to the United States General Services Administration at the District’s real property
known and numbered as 2350 Market Street in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the aforesaid lease of the United States General Services
Administration was assumed by the District upon the District’s purchase of said
real property on February 8, 2002, and
WHEREAS, the District will reclaim 2,380 square feet of space
through the Amendment to said Lease,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into a Lease Amendment with the United States General Services Administration
whereby the District will reclaim a portion of the premises as leased by the District
to the United States General Services Administration at the District’s real property
known and numbered as 2350 Market Street in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Lease Amendment as authorized in Section One of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved
by the office of the General Counsel of the District. In consideration of the
aforesaid Lease Amendment, the District will provide renovation, and relocate files
and furniture from the premises as reclaimed by the District, at an estimated cost
not to exceed Ten Thousand Dollars ($10,000.00).
The Foregoing ordinance was adopted July 18, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – T.W. Purcell, M.G. Reichert, A.J. Soukenik, M.C. Williams, and J.W.
Siscel.
Nays – None.
