AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services during construction
of Harlem-Baden Relief (Ashland-Abner) Pump Station (99144D); and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3 of Contract E-914 with
Kennedy Associates, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services during
construction.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10617, adopted September 9, 1999,
appropriated the initial finding for and authorized Contract E-914, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Ninety Thousand Dollars ($90,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services
during construction of Harlem-Baden Relief (Ashland-Abner) Pump Station
(99144D).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Amendment No. 3 of Contract E-914 with Kennedy Associates, Inc. for
engineering services during construction of Harlem-Baden Relief (Ashland-Abner)
Pump Station (99144D); said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms
and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 8, 2002 by the following vote-
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
