AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Fifty Thousand
($650,000.00) from the General Fund of the District for the purchase of
furniture and moving services in Market #2350 (Furniture and Move
Services) (2002058B), in City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Color Art Office
Interiors, Inc. whereby Color Art Office Interiors, Inc. will provide said
furniture and moving services for the District.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($650,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of
the District for the purchase of furniture and moving services in Market
#2350 (Furniture and Move Services) (2002058B), in the City of St.
Louis, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Color Art Office Interiors,
Inc., whereby Color Art Office Interiors, Inc. will provide furniture and
moving services in Market #2350 (Furniture and Move Services)
(2002058B) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri.
Section Three. The contract authorized in Section Two of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 8, 2002 by the following
vote-
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
