HomeMy Public PortalAbout11295 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11295 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Thirty-five Thousand
Dollars ($135,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs
for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Middle River des Peres (L-07B1)
Sewer Consolidation Phase II (98049B), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc.
for the aforesaid construction.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of the Sewer Consolidation is One
Hundred Twenty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Dollars ($121,800.00), and the
allowance for construction change orders is Thirteen Thousand Two Hundred Dollars
($13,200.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Thirty-five Thousand Dollars
($135,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for project costs for the construction of the Lemay Service Area ORS Middle River des
Peres (L-07B1) Sewer Consolidation Phase II (98049B), in the City of St. Louis,
Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with R.V. Wagner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of
the Lemay Service Area ORS Middle River des Peres (L-07B1) Sewer Consolidation,
Phase II (98049B), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 18th day of July, 2002.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 8, 2002 by the following vote-
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
