HomeMy Public PortalAbout11302O R D I N A N C E NO. 11302 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Eighty-three Thousand One Hundred Fifty-Four Dollars ($483,154.00) from the General Fund of the District for electronic fire security, closed circuit television surveillance and electronic pass card protection services for the District’s building at 2350 Market Street in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Interface Security Systems, L.L.C., whereby Interface Security Systems, L.L.C. will provide said services for the District. WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Eighty-three Thousand One Hundred Fifty-four Dollars ($483,154.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the District for electronic fire security, closed circuit television surveillance and electronic pass card protection services for the District’s building at 2350 Market Street in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Interface Security Systems, Inc., L.L.C., whereby Interface Security Systems, Inc., L.L.C. will provide electronic fire security, closed circuit television surveillance and electronic pass card protection services for the District’s building at 2350 Market Street in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Three. The contract authorized in Section Two of this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 8, 2002 by the following vote- Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, and J.W. Siscel. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
