HomeMy Public PortalAbout11303 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11303 AN ORDINANCE, amending Ordinance No. 11215, as adopted May 13, 2002, by repealing Paragraph 11 on Page 2 and Section Fourteen, and enacting a new Paragraph 11 on Page 2 and Section Fourteen in lieu thereof, thereby adjusting the amount of taxes which shall be levied, assessed and collected in the year 2002 on all taxable tangible property in Subdistrict No. 369 (Sugar Creek). NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. Paragraph 11 on Page 2 of Ordinance No. 11215, as adopted May 13, 2002, is hereby repealed. Section Two. Section Fourteen of Ordinance No. 11215, as adopted May 13, 2002, is hereby repealed. Section Three. There is hereby enacted a new Paragraph 11 on Page 2 of Ordinance No. 11215 to read as follows: In Subdistrict No. 369 (Sugar Creek Stormwater Subdistrict) One Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-five Dollars ($162,435), which sum will be realized by the rate of Six point two cents (.062) per one hundred dollars assessed valuation; Section Four. There is hereby enacted a new Section Fourteen of Ordinance No. 11215 to read as follows: Section Fourteen. The amount of taxes which shall be levied, assessed and collected in the year 2002 on all taxable tangible property within that part of the corporate limits of St. Louis County lying within Subdistrict No. 369 (Sugar Creek Stormwater Subdistrict), as defined and delineated by District Ordinance No. 2552, adopted March 13, 1974, shall be One Hundred Sixty-two Thousand Four Hundred Thirty-five Dollars ($162,435), which sum will be produced by the rate of six point two cents (.062) per one hundred dollars assessed valuation, and which is required during the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2002, for the purposes and in amounts as follows: Operation, Maintenance and Construction of Improvements $162,435.00 Anticipated Tax Delinquencies 1,000.00 Total Levy $163,435.00 The Foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 8, 2002 by the following vote- Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, and J.W. Siscel. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
