O R D I N A N C E NO. 11337
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($220,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the purchase of
wetlands mitigation credits in Lower Meramec River Wetlands Mitigation (95066S),
in St. Louis County, Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into an Agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the purchase of said
wetlands mitigation credits.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars
($220,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the
purchase of wetlands mitigation credits in Lower Meramec River Wetlands
Mitigation (95066S), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into an Agreement with the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers for the purchase of
wetlands mitigation credits in Meramec River Wetlands Mitigation (95066S), in St.
Louis County, Missouri.

Section Three. The Agreement authorized in Section Two of this
ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the
office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 12, 2002 by the following vote-
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
