AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Thirty-seven
Thousand Five Hundred Dollars ($337,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch of River Des
Peres for engineering services for the final design of Gaebler-Trescott Storm
Sewers (UCTC-120) (2001080); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter
into Contract E-1027 with Reitz & Jens, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering
services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Thirty-seven Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($337,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of the University City Branch
of River des Peres for engineering services for the final design of Gaebler-Trescott
Storm Sewers (UCTC-120) (2001080).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter

into Contract E-1027 with Reitz & Jens, Inc. for engineering services for the final
design of Gaebler-Trescott Storm Sewers (UCTC-120) (2001080); said contract to
be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 3, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.W. Siscel.
Nays – None.
