HomeMy Public PortalAbout11341ORDINANCE NO. 11341 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Forty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-nine Dollars ($641,949.00) from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the procurement of the Bissell Point WWTP Belt Filter Press Improvements 2002044, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Andritz-Ruther, Inc. for the procurement of the aforesaid improvements. WHEREAS, the bid for the procurement of the Belt Filter Press Improvements is Six Hundred Forty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-nine Dollars ($641,949.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Forty-one Thousand Nine Hundred Forty-nine Dollars ($641,949.00) is hereby appropriated from the Clean Water Capital Improvement Trust Fund to be used for project costs for the procurement of the Bissell Point WWTP Belt Filter Press Improvements 2002044, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Andritz-Ruthner, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the procurement of the Bissell Point WWTP Belt Filter Press Improvements 2002044, in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 22nd day of April, 2002. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 3, 2002by the following vote – Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.W. Siscel. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
