AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to purchase and
demolish certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri known and
numbered as 359 Rauhut to eliminate flooding and basement backups in Rauhut
358-360 (88021).
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
purchase and demolish certain real property in St. Louis County, Missouri known
and numbered as 359 Rauhut to eliminate flooding and basement backups in
Rauhut 358-360 (88021).
Section Two. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a
General Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real
property to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the grantors a total price not
to exceed Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) for said real property.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 14, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
