AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Jefferson Wells International whereby Jefferson Wells
International will provide audit services of best practices and internal controls
in the District’s spare parts and warehouse consolidation.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with Jefferson Wells International, whereby Jefferson
Wells International will provide audit services of best practices and internal
controls in the District’s spare parts and warehouse consolidation.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this
ordinance shall provide for a fee not to exceed Eighty-seven Thousand Five
Hundred Dollars ($87,500.00) and shall be comprised of such other terms and
conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.

The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, J.W. Siscel, and
J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
