AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to pay Union Electric
Company d/b/a AmerenUE for the relocation of utility power lines in order to
facilitate the construction of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment
Plant (95066A).
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand ($500,000.00) is
hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to pay Union Electric
Company d/b/a AmerenUE for the relocation of utility power lines in order to
facilitate the construction of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment
Plant (95066A).
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 2002 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A. J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, J.W. Siscel, and
J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
