AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty Thousand Dollars
($40,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for project costs for the
construction of storm sewers in Sharon Court #4,5,6, & 7 (Infrastructure
Repair #155) (95033), in the City of Florissant, Missouri; and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Schuster Engineering, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm
sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said storm sewers
is Thirty-five Thousand Eight Hundred Seventy-two Dollars ($35,872.00),
and the allowance for construction change orders is Four Thousand One
Hundred Twenty-eight Dollars ($4,128.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty Thousand Dollars
($40,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
the construction of storm sewers in Sharon Court #4,5,6 & 7
(Infrastructure Repair #155) (95033), in the City of Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Schuster Engineering, Inc. as
the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers in
Sharon Court #4,5,6, & 7 (Infrastructure Repair #155) (95033), in the
City of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the
22nd day of November, 2002.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 13, 2002 by the
following vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A. J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, J.W.
Siscel, and J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
