AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
One Hundred Forty Thousand Dollars ($140,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for additional engineering services for the
Combined Sewer Overflow Long Term Control Plan; and authorizing the
Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan
St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 6 to Contract E-
736 with Jacobs Civil, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 8588, adopted February 12,
1992, provided the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-736,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Forty Thousand
Dollars ($140,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund is hereby
appropriated for additional engineering services for the Combined Sewer
Overflow Long Term Control Plan
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 6 to Contract E-736 with
Jacobs Civil, Inc for engineering services for the preparation of the
Combined Sewer Overflow Long Term Control Plan.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 23, 2003 by the following
vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M.
Swartz.
Nays – None.
