AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a General Membership Agreement with Missouri
One Call System, Inc., whereby the District will furnish the locations of
subsurface District facilities prior to excavation in the areas of said
subsurface District facilities.
WHEREAS, pursuant to Section 319.022 of the Missouri
Revised Statutes, the District is required to join the Missouri One Call
System on a continuous basis commencing in the year 2003,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a General Membership Agreement with
Missouri One Call System, Inc., whereby the District will furnish the
locations of subsurface District facilities prior to excavation in the areas
of said subsurface District facilities.
Section Two. The General Membership Agreement as
authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall be comprised of such
other terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District. All charges payable by the District pursuant to
said General Membership Agreement shall be provided for in the
Operations Department’s Annual Budgets.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 23, 2003 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
