AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Hundred Fourteen Thousand
Dollars ($114,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to pay the District’s
share of the design costs of the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Project
(2001141).
WHEREAS, the Department of the Army has undertaken the design of
the St. Louis Combined Sewer Overflows Project (2001141), and
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10939, adopted April 12, 2001, authorized the
District’s participation in the design costs of said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES
OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Fourteen Thousand Dollars
($114,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to
pay the District’s share of the design costs of the St. Louis Combined Sewer
Overflows Project (2001141).
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted January 23, 2003 by the following vote –
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M.
Swartz.
Nays – None.
