HomeMy Public PortalAbout11443O R D I N A N C E NO. 11443 AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract extension with Public Financial Management, Inc. whereby Public Financial Management, Inc. will continue to provide general and transactional professional financial advisory services to the District from March 1, 2003 to August 31, 2003. WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 10697, as adopted February 10, 2000, authorized the contract whereby Public Financial Management, Inc. will provide general and transactional professional financial advisory services to the District, said contract to terminate on February 28, 2003, and WHEREAS, the District contemplates a bond authorization election to be held in April 2003, and upon a favorable result, intends to issue debt shortly thereafter, and WHEREAS, the District desires to extend the contract of Public Financial Management, Inc. for continuity purposes until the completion of the natural debt cycle, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract extension with Public Financial Management, Inc., whereby Public Financial Management, Inc. will continue to provide general and transactional professional financial advisory services to the District from March 1, 2003 to August 31, 2003. Section Two. The contract extension authorized in Section One of this ordinance shall provide for an additional contract term of March 1, 2003 to August 31, 2003, shall continue all other provisions as found in the original contract, and shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 2003 by the following vote- Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M. Swartz. Nays – None. Secretary-Treasurer
