AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into contract
amendments with Gilmore & Bell, P.C. and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C. to provide that
the District will pay Gilmore & Bell, P.C. and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C. on an hourly
basis for Bond Counsel advisory services rendered to the District outside the scope of
their original contracts, as determined by the District.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11179, adopted March 27, 2002, authorized
the contracts with Gilmore & Bell, P.C. and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C.,
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into contract
amendments with Gilmore & Bell, P.C. and Hardwick law Firm, L.L.C. to provide that
the District will pay Gilmore & Bell, P.C. and Hardwick Law Firm, L.L.C. on an hourly
basis for Bond Counsel advisory services rendered to the District outside the scope of
their original contracts, as determined by the District.
Section Two. The contract amendments authorized in Section One of this
ordinance shall provide for hourly fees not to exceed Two Hundred Dollars ($200.00) for
work performed by partners and One Hundred Fifty Dollars ($150.00) for work
performed by associates plus out-of-pocket expenses as approved by the General
Counsel of the District and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as
are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 2003 by the following vote-
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
