AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and the Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Ernst & Young, L.L.P. whereby Ernst & Young, L.L.P. will audit all
plans and expenditures related to the District’s Meramec Wastewater Treatment Plant
and Collection System Project.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Ernst & Young, L.L.P. whereby Ernst & Young, L.L.P. will audit all
plans and expenditures related to the District’s Meramec Wastewater Treatment Plant
and Collection System Project.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this ordinance
shall provide for an annual fee not to exceed One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars
($150,000.00) and shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 2003by the following vote-
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
