AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
One Hundred Twenty-three Thousand Dollars ($123,000.00) from the
Improvement Fund for additional engineering services for the final design
of Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements (2001068); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3
of Contract E-1014 with HDR Engineering Inc. for the aforesaid
engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11134, adopted December 13,
2001, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-
1014, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Hundred Twenty-three
Thousand Dollars ($123,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Improvement Fund for additional engineering services for the final design
of Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements (2001068).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 3 of Contract E-1014 with
HDR Engineering, Inc. for additional engineering services for the final
design of Fenton Wastewater Treatment Plant Improvements (2001068);
said contract amendment to be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted February 20, 2003 by the following
vote-
Ayes – C.D. Seward, A.J. Soukenik, T.W. Purcell, M.C. Williams, and J.M.
Swartz.
Nays – None.
