AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) from
the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the acquisition of combined sewer flow data for use
in hydraulic modeling and system characterization in CSO-Flow Metering and
Monitoring (2003055); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with
Geotivity, Inc. whereby Geotivity, Inc. will provide said data to the District.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Dollars ($1,000,000.00) is hereby
appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the acquisition of combined
sewer flow data for use in hydraulic modeling and system characterization in CSO-
Flow Metering and Monitoring (2003055).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Geotivity, Inc. whereby Geotivity, Inc. will provide combined sewer flow
data for use in hydraulic modeling and system characterization in CSO-Flow Metering
and Monitoring (2003055).
Section Three. This contract authorized in Section Two of this ordinance
shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the
General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted March 20, 2003 by the following vote-
Ayes – R.J. Baer, M.A. Rhodes, B.J. Margiotta, C. Brown, and D. Joyce-Hayes.
Nays – None.
