HomeMy Public PortalAbout11474 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11474 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($565,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of a pump station and sanitary sewers in Riverwoods Pump Station P-738 (Infrastructure Repair #192) (97043), in St. Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Purler-Cannon- Schulte, Inc. for the construction of said pump station and sanitary sewers. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said pump station and sanitary sewers is Five Hundred Twenty-four Thousand Dollars ($524,000.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Forty-one Thousand Dollars ($41,000.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($565,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of a pump station and sanitary sewers in Riverwoods Pump Station P-738(Infrastructure Repair #192) (97043), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Purler-Cannon-Schulte, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of a pump station and sanitary sewers in Riverwoods Pump Station P-738 (Infrastructure Repair #197) (97043), in the City of Hazelwood, Missouri, with The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of March, 2003. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
