AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Fifty Thousand Dollars ($50,000.00) from the General Fund of the
District for additional wastewater user charge study services to
determine the user charge levels needed to support the District’s current
and future funding needs; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract amendment with Black & Veatch,
whereby Black & Veatch will perform said additional wastewater user
charge study services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11077, adopted September 13,
2001, authorized the aforesaid contract,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED, BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Fifty Thousand Dollars
($50,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the General Fund of the
District for additional wastewater user charge study services to
determine the user charge levels needed to support the District’s current
and future funding needs.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract amendment with Black & Veatch,
whereby Black & Veatch will perform additional wastewater user charge
study to determine the user debt charge levels needed to support the
District’s current and future funding needs.
Section Three. The contract authorized in Section One of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such other terms and conditions as
are approved by the Office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted May 22, 2003 by the following vote
Ayes – R.J. Baer, M.A. Rhodes, D. Joyce-Hayes, B.J. Margiotta, C.
Brown, and J.M. Swartz.
Nays – None.
