HomeMy Public PortalAbout11496O R D I N A N C E NO. 11496 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers and a wet weather pump station and appurtenances in Graystone Manor Sanitary Relief (2001048), in St. Louis County, Missouri, and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid sanitary sewers and wet weather pump station and appurtenances. WHEREAS, the bid for the construction of said sanitary sewers and wet weather pump station and appurtenances is Two Hundred Thirty Thousand Seven Hundred Thirty-seven Dollars ($230,737.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Nineteen Thousand Two Hundred Sixty-three Dollars ($19,263.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($250,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers and a wet weather pump station and appurtenances in Graystone Manor Sanitary Relief (2001048), in St. Louis County, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Fred M. Luth & Sons, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of sanitary sewers and a wet weather pump station and appurtenances in Graystone Manor Sanitary Relief (2001048), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th day of April 2003. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 2003.
