HomeMy Public PortalAbout11504 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11504 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the acquisition, demolition and related activities for real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, for flood mitigation purposes in Harlem Baden Relief Phase III (Broadway) - Property Acquisition (2001136A); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire, demolish and perform related activities for the real property known and numbered as 8029 Rear Frederick Street. BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Thousand Dollars ($200,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for the acquisition, demolition and related activities for real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, known and numbered as 8029 Rear Frederick Street for flood mitigation purposes Harlem Baden Relief Phase III (Broadway) - Property Acquisition (2001136A). Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to acquire, demolish and perform related activities for real property in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, known and numbered as 8029 Rear Frederick Street for flood mitigation purposes Harlem Baden Relief Phase III (Broadway) - Property Acquisition (2001136A). Section Three. Upon the execution and delivery to the District of a General Warranty Deed in proper form conveying title to the above-described real property to The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized to pay to the respective grantors such amount as approved by the Board of Trustees of the District for said real property. Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 12, 2003.
