O R D I N A N C E NO. 11539
AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million One Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand Dollars ($1,124,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering
services for the final design of Lemay WWTP Wet Weather Expansion (2003067); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1045 with Black &
Veatch Corporation for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million One Hundred Twenty-four
Thousand Dollars ($1,124,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for engineering services for the final design of Lemay WWTP Wet
Weather Expansion (2003067).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract E-1045 with Black & Veatch Corporation for engineering services for the final
design of Lemay WWTP Wet Weather Expansion (2003067); said contract to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the Office of the General
Counsel.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 10, 2003.
