AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Three Hundred Twenty-three
Thousand Dollars ($323,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
engineering services for the preliminary design of Maplewood-Blendon
Combined Sewer Relief Phase I (94048); and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1049 with Stock & Associates
Consulting Engineers, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized therein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Three Hundred Twenty-three
Thousand Dollars ($323,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the preliminary
design of Maplewood-Blendon Combined Sewer Relief Phase I (94048).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1049 with Stock and Associates
Consulting Engineers, Inc. for engineering services for the preliminary
design of Maplewood-Blendon Combined Sewer Relief Phase I (94048);
said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon it enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted August 14, 2003.
