AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Chairman of the Board of
Trustees on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
execute an Acceptance Letter confirming the District’s request for a
follow-up audit to be performed by the Missouri State Auditor’s office to
document the implementation of recommendations in audit Report No.
2002-88, titled Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as issued on
September 12, 2002, and further providing that the District will
contribute funds to defray the costs of said follow-up audit.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to execute an Acceptance Letter confirming the District’s request for a
follow-up audit to be performed by the Missouri State Auditor’s office to
document the implementation of recommendations in Audit Report No.
2002-88, titled Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, as issued on
September 12, 2002, and further providing that the District will
contribute funds to defray the costs of said follow-up audit.
Section Two. The Acceptance Letter as authorized in Section
One of this ordinance shall provide for a total District contribution not to
exceed Fifteen Thousand Dollars ($15,000.00), and be comprised of such
other terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted August 14, 2003.
