AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund to be used
for the procurement of Coarse Screens as part of the Lower Meramec
River Wastewater System Improvements -- Lift Station Coarse Screens
Procurement (95066L1), and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Bracket Green USA, Inc. for the
furnishing of the aforesaid Coarse Screens.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Fifty Thousand
Dollars ($550,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for the procurement of Coarse Screens as
part of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater System Improvements – Lift
Station Coarse Screen Procurement (95066L1).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Bracket Green USA, Inc. as
the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing of Coarse Screens as part
of the Lower Meramec River Wastewater System Improvements – Lift
Station Coarse Screen Procurement (95066L1).
Section Three. The contract authorized in Section Two of
this ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are
approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing ordinance was adopted September 11, 2003.
