AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Six Hundred Thirty-five
Thousand Dollars ($635,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of channel biostabilization in Coldwater
Creek Bank Stabilization-Wright to Geraldine (CLD-11) 2001093, in the
City of St. Ann, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Dave’s Lawn & Landscaping, Inc.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid sanitary sewers is Six
Hundred Four Thousand Seven Hundred Seventeen Dollars
($604,717.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is
Thirty Thousand Two Hundred Eighty-three Dollars ($30,283.00), and
WHEREAS, the State of Missouri has agreed to contribute
One Hundred Fifty Thousand Dollars ($150,000.00) toward the costs of
said project; upon the receipt of such funds from said source, said
money will be returned to the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Six Hundred Thirty-five Thousand
Dollars ($635,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of channel biostabilization
in Coldwater Creek Bank Stabilization-Wright to Geraldine (CLD-11)
2001093, in the City of St. Ann, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Dave’s Lawn & Landscaping,
Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of channel
biostabilization in Coldwater Creek Bank Stabilization-Wright to
Geraldine (CLD-11) 2001093, in the City of St. Ann, Missouri, within The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 20th day of August, 2003.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 9, 2003.
