HomeMy Public PortalAbout11602 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11602 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-one Thousand Five Hundred
Dollars ($41,500.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement
Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers
in New Florissant and St. Antoine Storm Sewer (2001059), in the City of Florissant,
Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with XL Contracting,
Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid storm sewers.
WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid construction is Thirty-nine Thousand
Four Hundred Ninety-five Dollars ($39,495.00), and the allowance for construction
change orders is Two Thousand Five Dollars ($2,005.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Forty-one Thousand Five Hundred Dollars
($41,500.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Paddock Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of
storm sewers in New Florissant and St. Antoine Storm Sewer (2001059), in the City of
Florissant, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby
authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with XL Contracting, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction
of storm sewers in New Florissant and St. Antoine Storm Sewer (2001059), in the City
of Florissant, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of August,
2003.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 9, 2003.
