AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 11540, adopted July 10, 2003,
and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof, appropriating Four Hundred Seventy-five
Thousand Dollars ($475,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering
services for the final design of Missouri River Treatment Plant Improvements (99076);
and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1046 with Burns &
McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 11540, adopted July 10, 2003, is hereby
repealed.
Section Two. The sum of Four Hundred Seventy-five Thousand Dollars
($475,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for
engineering services for the final design of Missouri River Treatment Plant
Improvements (99076).
Section Three. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
Contract E-1046 with Burns & McDonnell Engineering Company, Inc. for engineering
services for the final design of Missouri River Treatment Plant Improvements (99076);
said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office
of the General Counsel.
Section Four. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted October 9, 2003.
