HomeMy Public PortalAbout11616O R D I N A N C E NO. 11616 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of Bank Stabilization in Gray Drive and Oak Drive Storm Channel (DCTM-125) (2000102); in the City of Des Peres, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Dave's Lawn and Landscaping Services, Inc. for the aforesaid construction. WHEREAS, the bid for the aforesaid Bank Stabilization is One Hundred Ninety-nine Thousand Nine Hundred Ninety Dollars ($199,990.00), and the allowance for construction change order is Ten Thousand Ten Dollars ($10,010.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Ten Thousand Dollars ($210,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for the construction of Bank Stabilization in Gray Drive and Oak Drive Storm Channel (DCTM-125) (2000102), in the city of Des Peres, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Dave's Lawn & Landscaping Services, Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the construction of Bank Stabilization in Gray Drive and Oak Drive Storm Channel (DCTM- 125) (2000102), in the City of Des Peres, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 16th day of September, 2003. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 13, 2003.
