AN ORDINANCE, authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to the Housing and
Community Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America, for the
receipt of federal funds to be used for the construction of a sanitary sewer
project known as Crescent & Hanna Sanitary Sewers (95065), in
unincorporated St. Louis County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, the Housing and Community Development Act of 1974
will provide St. Louis County, Missouri with federal funds for public works
projects, and
WHEREAS, said Act requires contracts between the District and
St. Louis County, Missouri, for the undertaking of sewer projects,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into a contract with St. Louis County, Missouri pursuant to the Housing
and Community Development Act of 1974 of the United States of America, for
the receipt of federal funds to be used for the construction of a sanitary sewer
project known as Crescent & Hanna Sanitary Sewers (95065), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
Section Two. The contract authorized in Section One of this
ordinance shall be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by
the office of the General Counsel of the District.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted November 13, 2003.
