AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Eight Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,800,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement Fund
for engineering services for the preliminary design of Eastern Rocky
Branch Combined Sewer System (2002102) and Western Rocky Branch
Sewer System (2003082); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Contract E-1080 with George Butler Associates,
Inc., for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Eight Hundred
Thousand Dollars ($1,800,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the preliminary
design of Eastern Rocky Branch Combined Sewer System (2002102) and
Western Rocky Branch Sewer System (2003082).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1080 with George Butler
Associates, Inc., for engineering services for the preliminary design of
Eastern Rocky Branch Combined Sewer System (2002102) and Western
Rocky Branch Sewer System (2003082); said contract to be comprised of
such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted December 11, 2003 by the
following vote –
Ayes – M.A. Rhodes, C. Brown, D. Joyce-Hayes, J.M. Swartz, and R.J.
Baer.
Nays – None.
