Present: Sue Bentley; Dottie Vduttz; Monti Parks; Bill Kriener, Chantel Morton; Bill Garbett; Cullen Chambers Absent: Necca Stoller. UMnlen discussed requirement and need for all HPC, members to attend training sessions. Sue Bentley asked about possible reference library. Cullen informed members that the Historical Society has an extensive Historic Preservation lAbrary which can be used by HPC members at anytime. Bill Kriener mentioned This Old House magazine as ,,-n excellent reference for preservation information. There was a suggestion that Cullen inform HPC members of applications for permits to modify Historic homes on Tybee under the new policy and Cullen indicated he would do so. Cullen asked about Madisonand out provided to home owners and it was suggested that Tybee it the same. Chantel had some very useful insight into the handout. Chantel informed the HPC members that she and Cullen had modified the application for CLG status and submitted it for review. The forthcoming City Council meeting to vote on the submittal of the CLG application was discussed to determine best approach. Cullen flet that while be felt enough votes where on council last minute public opposition was always a possibility. Chantel discussed status of Design Guidelines. Cullen discussed status of Battery Fenwick and Battery Backus and voiced his concern about bow height would be calculated.
