HomeMy Public PortalAbout11705O R D I N A N C E NO. 11705 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Dollars ($463,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for Channel biostabilization in Des Peres – Twinbrook Storm Channel (DCSD-190) 2000076, in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Gershenson Construction Company, Inc., for the aforesaid channel biostabilization. WHEREAS, the bid for said channel biostabilization is Four Hundred Forty Thousand Two Hundred Nine and 67/100 Dollars ($440,209.67) and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-two Thousand Seven Hundred Ninety and 33/100 Dollars ($22,790.33), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Sixty-three Thousand Dollars ($463,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Deer Creek to be used for project costs for channel biostabilization in Des Peres – Twinbrook Storm Channel (DCSD-190) 2000076, in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Gershenson Construction Company, Inc., as the lowest responsible bidder for channel biostabilization in Des Peres – Twinbrook Storm Channel (DCSD-190) 2000076, in the City of Rock Hill, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 6th day of February 2004. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted April 22, 2004.
