O R D I N A N C E NO. 11749
AN ORDINANCE, repealing Ordinance No. 10819, adopted
September 14, 2000, and enacting a new ordinance in lieu thereof,
prescribing the salary of the Executive Director of The Metropolitan St.
Louis Sewer District; and authorizing the Chairman of the Board of
Trustees of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a
contract with Jeffrey L. Theerman whereby Jeffrey L. Theerman will be
employed as Executive Director of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District, with an emergency clause.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE
METROPOLITAN ST. LOUS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. Ordinance No. 10819, adopted September 14,
2000, is hereby repealed.
Section Two. The salary of the Executive Director shall be
One Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars ($165,000.00) per annum,
payable in equal bi-weekly installments.
Section Three. The Chairman of the Board of Trustees is
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract with Jeffrey L. Theerman whereby Jeffrey L.
Theerman will be employed as Executive Director of the District.
Section Four. The position of Executive Director is essential
to the operation of the District, and the salary for said position must be
prescribed and the employment contract executed without delay, thus
creating an emergency within the meaning of the Plan. Accordingly, this
ordinance shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted June 10, 2004.
