AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Two Million Six Hundred Ninety-two Thousand Dollars ($2,692,000.00)
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services
for the final design of DC-03 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase I (River
Des Peres to North Forest) (89133A); and authorizing the Executive
Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-1082 with
Engineering Design Source, Inc., for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11647, adopted December 11,
2003, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-
1082, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Million Six Hundred Ninety-
two Thousand Dollars ($2,692,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Sanitary Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the
final design of DC-03 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase I (River Des Peres
to North Forest) (89133A).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-1082 with
Engineering Design Source, Inc. for additional engineering services for
the final design of DC-03 Deer Creek Sanitary Relief Phase I (River Des
Peres to North Forest) (89133A); said contract amendment to be
comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of
the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
