AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($500,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the preliminary
design of CSO – In-Line Flow Management and Outfall Treatment
Analysis (2003051); and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-1075 with HDR
Engineering, Inc., for the aforesaid additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11640, adopted December 11,
2003, appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-
1075, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Thousand Dollars
($500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for additional engineering services for the preliminary design of
CSO – In-Line Flow Management and Outfall Treatment Analysis
(2003051).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 to Contract E-1075 with
HDR Engineering, Inc. for additional engineering services for the
preliminary design of CSO – In-Line Flow Management and Outfall
Treatment Analysis (2003051); said contract amendment to be comprised
of such terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted July 8, 2004.
