HomeMy Public PortalAbout11790O R D I N A N C E NO. 11790 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Forty-four Thousand Dollars ($44,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for channel bank restoration and appurtenances in Suburban #422-428 (MCMB-220)(2002096); in the City of Ferguson, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the aforesaid channel bank restoration and appurtenances. WHEREAS, the bid for the channel bank restoration and appurtenances is Forty Thousand One Hundred Ninety-six Dollars ($40,196.00) and the allowance for construction change orders is Three Thousand Eight Hundred Four Dollars ($3,804.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Forty-four Thousand Dollars ($44,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Maline Creek to be used for project costs for channel bank restoration and appurtenances in Suburban #422-428 (MCMB-220)(2002096), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary- Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group, as the lowest responsible bidder for channel bank restoration and appurtenances in Suburban #422-428 (MCMB-220)(2002096), in the City of Ferguson, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 26th day of May, 2004. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 12, 2004.
