AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Five Hundred Ninety-four
Thousand Dollars ($594,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Black Jack-Dellwood to be used for
project costs for channel bank stabilization and appurtenances in
Prentice – Grainger Storm Channel (MCBJ-110) Phase I (2000110); in St.
Louis County, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and
Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Parisi Ecoworks, Inc., for the
aforesaid channel bank stabilization and appurtenances.
WHEREAS, the bid for the channel bank stabilization and
appurtenances is Five Hundred Sixty-five Thousand Dollars
($565,000.00) and the allowance for construction change orders is
Twenty-nine Thousand Dollars ($29,000.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Five Hundred Ninety-four
Thousand Dollars ($594,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the
Operation, Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Black
Jack-Dellwood to be used for project costs for channel bank stabilization
and appurtenances in Prentice – Grainger Storm Channel (MCBJ-110)
Phase I (2000110), in St. Louis County, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Parisi Ecowork, Inc., as the
lowest responsible bidder for channel bank stabilization and
appurtenances in Prentice – Grainger Storm Channel (MCBJ-110) Phase
I (2000110), in St. Louis County, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and
opened on the 2nd day of June, 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted August 12, 2004.
