AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Nine Hundred Twenty Thousand Dollars ($920,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the final design
of Maplewood-Blendon Combined Sewer Relief Phase I (94048); and
authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of
The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Amendment No 1
of Contract E-1049 with Stock & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc.
for the additional engineering services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11560, adopted August 14, 2003,
appropriated the initial funding for and authorized Contract E-1049, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Nine Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($920,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for additional engineering services for the final design
of Maplewood-Blendon Combined Sewer Relief Phase I (94048).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Amendment No. 1 of Contract E-1049 with
Stock & Associates Consulting Engineers, Inc. for additional engineering
services for the final design of Maplewood-Blendon Combined Sewer
Relief Phase I (94048); said contract amendment to be comprised of such
terms and conditions as are approved by the office of the General
Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
