AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Two Hundred Fifteen
Thousand Dollars ($215,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and
Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to be used for
project costs for the construction of storm sewers and channel
biostabilization in Brown to Argyle Storm Channel (CLD-03)(2000104), in
the City of Overland, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director
and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer
District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group for the
aforesaid storm sewer construction and channel biostabilization.
WHEREAS, the bid for said storm sewer construction and
channel biostabilization is One Hundred Ninety-four Thousand Four
Hundred Four Dollars ($194,404.00) and the allowance for construction
change orders is Twenty Thousand Five Hundred Ninety-six Dollars
($20,596.00), and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Two Hundred Fifteen Thousand
Dollars ($215,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation,
Maintenance and Construction Improvement Fund of Coldwater Creek to
be used for project costs for the construction of storm sewers and
channel biostabilization in Brown to Argyle Storm Channel (CLD-
03)(2000104), in the City of Overland, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into a contract with Ideal Landscape Group as the
lowest responsible bidder for the construction of storm sewers and
channel biostabilization in Brown to Argyle Storm Channel (CLD-
03)(2000104), in the City of Overland, Missouri, pursuant to bids
received and opened on the 30th day of June 2004.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
