HomeMy Public PortalAbout11827 O R D I N A N C E NO. 11827 AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Four Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($485,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the furnishing and installation of pumps, inline grinders, sump pump, piping, control equipment, power and appurtenances in Grand and Bates Relief Phase II (Pump Station) (99145A), in the City of St. Louis, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Condaire, Inc. for the construction of the aforesaid project. WHEREAS, the bid for said project is Four Hundred Fifty-eight Thousand Four Hundred Dollars ($458,400.00), and the allowance for construction change orders is Twenty-six Thousand Six Hundred Dollars ($26,600.00), and WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation authorized herein, NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT: Section One. The sum of Four Hundred Eighty-five Thousand Dollars ($485,000.00), is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for project costs for the furnishing and installation of pumps, inline grinders, sump pump, piping, control equipment, power and appurtenances in Grand and Bates Relief Phase II (Pump Station) (99145A) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri. Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into a contract with Condaire Inc. as the lowest responsible bidder for the furnishing and installation of pumps, inline grinders, sump pump, piping, control equipment, power and appurtenances in Grand and Bates Relief Phase II (Pump Station) (99145A) in the City of St. Louis, Missouri, pursuant to bids received and opened on the 9th day of July 2004. Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment. The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
