AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of Thirty-nine
Million Five Hundred Thousand Dollars ($39,500,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund to be used for additional project costs for the construction of
the Lower Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066A), in St. Louis
County, Missouri.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11600, adopted October 9, 2003,
appropriated the initial funding for and authorized the contract for said project,
and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the obligation
authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty-nine Million Five Hundred Thousand
Dollars ($39,500,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund to be used for additional project costs for the construction of the Lower
Meramec River Wastewater Treatment Plant (95066A), in St. Louis County,
Missouri.
Section Two. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance, shall
take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
