AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Four Million Dollars ($4,000,000.00) from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for additional flow metering and monitoring services for Separate
Service Area – Flow Metering and Monitoring (2003084); and authorizing
the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on behalf of The
Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into contract Amendment
No. 2 with Severn Trent Pipeline Services, Inc. for the aforesaid
additional services.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11463, adopted March 21, 2003,
appropriated the initial funding and authorized the contract, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Four Million Dollars
($4,000,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Sanitary Replacement
Fund for flow metering and monitoring services for Separate Service Area
- Flow Metering and Monitoring (2003084).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into contract Amendment No. 2 with Severn Trent
Pipeline Services, Inc. for additional flow metering and monitoring
services for Separate Service - Area Flow Metering and Monitoring
(2003084); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
