AN ORDINANCE, appropriating Seven Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($720,000.00) from the Operation, Maintenance and Construction
Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin for engineering services for
the final design of Brookton Way to Meramec Bottom Road Sanitary Relief
(2000083); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer on
behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into Contract E-
1104 with Kuhlmann Design Group Inc., for the aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is an
unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Seven Hundred Twenty Thousand
Dollars ($720,000.00) is hereby appropriated from the Operation, Maintenance
and Construction Improvement Fund of Lower Meramec River Basin for
engineering services for the final design of Brookton Way to Meramec Bottom
Road Sanitary Relief (2000083).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer are
hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to
enter into Contract E-1104 with Kuhlmann Design Group Inc., for engineering
services for the final design of Brookton Way to Meramec Bottom Road Sanitary
Relief (2000083); said contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions
as are approved by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation ordinance,
shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
