AN ORDINANCE, appropriating One Million Three Hundred
Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,325,000.00) from the Sanitary
Replacement Fund for engineering services for the preliminary design of
Chambers – South Benton Combined Sewer System (2003102), Dakota
Combined Sewer System (2003104), Louisa Combined Sewer System
(2003109); and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer to enter into Contract E-1115 with CH2M Hill, Inc., for the
aforesaid engineering services.
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of One Million Three Hundred
Twenty-five Thousand Dollars ($1,325,000.00) is hereby appropriated
from the Sanitary Replacement Fund for engineering services for the
preliminary design of Chambers – South Benton Combined Sewer System
(2003102), Dakota Combined Sewer System (2003104), Louisa Combined
Sewer System (2003109).
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis
Sewer District to enter into Contract E-1115 with CH2M Hill, Inc. for
engineering services for the preliminary design of Chambers – South
Benton Combined Sewer System (2003102), Dakota Combined Sewer
System (2003104), Louisa Combined Sewer System (2003109); said
contract to be comprised of such terms and conditions as are approved
by the office of the General Counsel of the District.
Section Three. The ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
