HomeMy Public PortalAbout11848O R D I N A N C E NO. 11848 AN ORDINANCE, making a supplemental appropriation of
Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00) from the Improvement Fund to be used
for additional project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Canary
Estates (P-461) Pump Station Elimination (2003127); in the City of
Manchester, Missouri; and authorizing the Executive Director and Secretary-
Treasurer on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District to enter into
a contract amendment with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the construction
of the aforesaid sanitary sewers.
WHEREAS, Ordinance No. 11745, adopted June 10, 2004,
authorized the contract; and Ordinance No. 11780, adopted July 8, 2004,
appropriated the initial funding for said project, and
WHEREAS, the Director of Finance has certified that there is
an unencumbered balance in the above-named fund sufficient to pay the
obligation authorized herein,
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE BOARD OF
TRUSTEES OF THE METROPOLITAN ST. LOUIS SEWER DISTRICT:
Section One. The sum of Thirty Thousand Dollars ($30,000.00)
is hereby appropriated from the Improvement Fund to be used for additional
project costs for the construction of sanitary sewers in Canary Estates (P-461)
Pump Station Elimination (2003127), in the City of Manchester, Missouri.
Section Two. The Executive Director and Secretary-Treasurer
are hereby authorized on behalf of The Metropolitan St. Louis Sewer District
to enter into a contract amendment with Bates Utility Company, Inc. for the
construction of sanitary sewers in Canary Estates (P-461) Pump Station
Elimination (2003127), in the City of Manchester, Missouri.
Section Three. This ordinance, being an appropriation
ordinance, shall take effect immediately upon its enactment.
The foregoing Ordinance was adopted September 9, 2004.
